How to Make Hibiscus Tea and Benefits of Hibiscus Flowers

Hibiscus Flowers are a cooling choice for summer tea, a great infusion for skincare products, and can even be used as a natural dye as it turns waters into a vibrant shade of ruby red

Hibiscus Rose Sun Tea Recipe

Add the roses and hibiscus to a class jar, use a 1 quart glass jar with lid or consider a  French Press for smaller batches to strain the flowers easily. Fill your vessel with water and place in the sun for a couple of hours. The longer it sits, the deeper and more vibrant the color will become, charging your flowers with the energy of the sun.

  • Combine organic hibiscus flower, organic rose petals and water in a 1-quart glass jar. If desired add a hint of herbs or spices to the flowers. 
  • Stir and/or swirl until herbs are fully combined 
  • Cover with a lid or cloth held in place by a rubber band, avoiding the liquid and stainless coming in contact if desired. 
  • Place in direct sunlight for 2-4 hours.
  • Strain and enjoy.
